Last night at a gala at Hotel One King West in Toronto Canadian Business Press presented the winners of the 60th anniversary Kenneth R. Wilson Awards for excellence in business-to-business magazine publishing.
The winners of Magazine of the Year were BCBusiness (Professional Division) and Retail News (Trade Division).
The Best Cover awards went to Up Here Business (Gold) and Canadian Grocer (Silver).
The Best Issue awards went to CMA Magazine (Gold) and University Affairs (Silver).
The Best Art Direction awards went to Precedent (Gold) and SRI Magazine (Silver).
Construire (acqconstruire.com) won for Website of the Year.
CAmagazine led all publications with 5 awards (3 Gold; 2 Silver) and 14 Honourable Mentions. Awards were presented in a total of 22 categories for written, visual and digital content. Visit krwawards.ca to view all the winners.
Allan Britnell, managing editor of Renovation Contractor and president of the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors, served as the gala’s master of ceremonies.
