2011 Atlantic Journalism Awards finalists announced

Congratulations to the nominees for the 2011 Atlantic Journalism Awards, including popular periodicals Saltscapes, Atlantic Business Journal, Halifax Magazine, Nova Scotia Open to the World, East Coast Living, and The Coast.

Finalists were announced last week in 28 categories for magazine, newspaper, online and broadcast journalism based in Atlantic Canada.

The coveted award for Atlantic Magazine Best Cover will come down to three finalists:

Atlantic Business Magazine (“The Rise of Generation Plus,” March 2011); Halifax Magazine (“Going to the Big Leagues,” October 2011); and East Coast Living (“Back to Life,” Winter 2011).
