Mastering Reinvention

The National Media Awards Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of its first ever podcast: Mastering Reinvention! Made possible with the support of Ontario Creates, and hosted by Sandra E. Martin, the series explores how award-winning publications have made the shift to virtual in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievement

The 44th annual call for entries is closed but we are still accepting applications for the Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievement until March 2, 2021. Since its inception in 1990, the Outstanding Achievement Award has recognized an individual’s innovative and creative contributions to the Canadian magazine industry, and it is the most prestigious individual award conferred by the National Media Awards Foundation.

The Outstanding Achievement Award is open to virtually everyone in the industry, including circulation experts, editors, marketing, sales and promotion professionals, publishers, creators, designers, and production managers. Past winners of the Outstanding Achievement Award include Don Gillmour, Linda Spalding, Joyce Byrne, and Penny Caldwell. We have all the information on how to submit entries for this award here.
